Lemon eucalyptus (eucalyptus citriodora/Corymbia citriodora)

This eucalyptus has a very different biochemical profile and makes it an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and mosquito repellent essential oil (like lemongrass?).

This essential oil contains a significant part of citronella, a very negative terpene aldehyde.

Lemon eucalyptus is sometimes called the “firefighter” of aromatherapy as it calms and soothes inflamed areas.

Used in aromatherapy topically to help relieve joint, muscle pain associated with sprains, strains and rheumatoid arthritis. Used in aromatherapy to help relieve headaches, colds and coughs.
